Apt Wealth Partners announces merger with Acceptance Finance

By Apt Wealth Partners | 03/07/2026

Apt Wealth Partners has announced a merger with Acceptance Finance, further strengthening its position as a leading holistic advice firm in Australia. The merger brings together two firms aligned in their client-first philosophy and long-term approach to financial advice. Together, they will manage more than $5 billion in funds and loan assets.

Apt CEO Andrew Dunbar said the partnership supports the firm’s strategy to build a scaled, multi-generational advice business.

‘This is about bringing together two high-quality businesses with shared values. It enhances our ability to deliver holistic advice and expands the support and expertise available to our clients.’

CEO of Acceptance Finance, Jonathan Cornish, said the merger represents a positive step forward for both clients and staff.

‘This partnership ensures our clients continue to receive the personalised advice they value, while gaining access to a broader range of expertise, resources and support. For our team, it creates new opportunities for collaboration, development and long-term career growth within a larger, like-minded business.’

Clients of Acceptance Finance will continue working with their existing advisers while benefiting from Apt’s broader capabilities, national network and investment in technology and research.

Apt Wealth Partners’ model as a multi-generational, employee-owned business is a key foundation of the merger. The firm believes this ownership structure supports long-term decision-making, strengthens alignment between advisers and clients, and creates a sustainable platform for growth that is not driven by short-term external shareholder pressures.

As part of its long-term growth strategy, Apt Wealth continues to engage with culturally aligned firms that share its vision of building an enduring, employee-owned, multi-generational financial services business.

The integration will occur progressively, with a focus on maintaining continuity of service and supporting both clients and employees through the transition.
