Equipment finance

Apt Wealth Finance, powered by Acceptance Finance

Still paying inflated hire costs? You may be surprised how much your business can save by financing and owning equipment as you go, rather than renting and never owning. We source competitive options across the full range, whatever the size of your investment.

Buy and own, don’t rent and repeat

Renting means paying off someone else’s asset forever. Financing means the equipment eventually belongs to your business, and technology upgrades can bring efficiencies worth having sooner rather than later.

Our dedicated team sources the most competitive and appropriate vehicle and equipment finance, and tailors the structure to your asset so you can claim the tax-effective benefits available while keeping your cash flow under control.

How to apply for equipment finance

From first conversation to long after settlement, here is how your broker works with you.

1

Connect with us

Book an appointment by phone, video or in person. We’ll work out which product suits your situation.

2

Get a recommendation

Your broker recommends an equipment finance product with lender, rate, fees and any balloon or residual payment set out clearly.

3

Apply and settle

Once you decide, we handle the paperwork and the application, then liaise with the vendor to help with settlement.

4

Ongoing care

Your broker stays available for the life of the facility and for whatever your business needs next.

What our clients often ask us

Is it really cheaper to finance than to hire?

Often, yes. Hiring means paying indefinitely for an asset you never own. Financing spreads the cost while the equipment ultimately becomes yours, and it can bring the efficiencies of newer technology sooner. We’ll compare the numbers for your situation.

What’s a chattel mortgage?

It’s a common commercial finance product where you own the asset from the outset and the lender takes security over it until the loan is repaid. It’s one of several structures we’ll match to your asset and tax position.

Can I get finance without full financial documentation?

Eligible clients can access no-financials asset lending of up to $35,000, subject to a clear credit history, property ownership, a deposit of 20 to 30 per cent depending on the lender and company director’s guarantees.

Will this be tax-effective for my business?

Our products are structured so you can claim the tax-effective benefits available for your asset, but the right treatment depends on your circumstances. We’ll structure it with your accountant so it’s done properly.
