For Andrew Dunbar, the best parts of his job as a financial adviser are the human elements. A director and senior financial adviser at Apt Wealth Partners, the 41 year old says being able to support people at critical moments in their lives brings great fulfilment.
“Without a doubt, it’s the satisfaction of seeing a client achieve what they want to do with their life,” he says. “You become so close to people. To be able to know you’ve helped them, it’s such a satisfying job. We’re not saving lives, but I reckon it’s about the next best thing in terms of the satisfaction you can get from it. That is really good.”
