Jonathan Cornish

Jonathan Cornish is the CEO of Acceptance Finance, having worked his way through nearly every part of the business for nearly two decades.

Jonathan joined Acceptance Finance in November 2007 in the client services team, moved into a Finance Broker role in 2009, and after close to ten years as a broker, took on leadership of the operations team, overseeing compliance, IT, marketing, accounts and HR. He stepped into the CEO role in 2024 and still works closely with a network of accountants and financial planners to make sure their clients get clear advice on their finance needs. In July 2026, Jonathan led Acceptance Finance into its strategic partnership with Apt Wealth Partners, a move he says gives the business greater scale while keeping its personalised service, branding and client relationships unchanged.

Jonathan is married with three kids. When he’s not at work, he’s attempting to be a handyman, training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu or watching the Wallabies.
